No Man's Sky Pathfinder patch, patched....

The latest big patch(Path Finder) has been patched to change and fix some things. Which is good but leaves me wondering if I can now build vehicles on any planet (not just my designated home planet), why can't I plonk a base down anywhere. Not just where the game chooses.... Maybe it's a game technical thing....
