Palia....

Palia; A game I've been keeping my eye on(here and here). The idea of a game that's more of a PvE 'community sim' with what some would call 'busy work' activities isn't for everyone. With a few community tests done I've not been lucky enough to try it out in person; However I like what I'm seeing with the game. It looks to have good ongoing developing, with lots of interesting world features and game-play mechanics. 

Farm Together as a game by comparison is a lot more casual co-op and doesn't have a fraction of the world or mechanics. But if Farm Together can survive then I have hopes for Palia and it's likewise visual monetization options.

Palia....

Palia has been on my radar for a while but it's been a bit since I last posted about it. As a game that's well in development there's a lot to it that's both pleasantly enjoyable to know and a lot more to question.

On the face of it, with details but not much practical detailing, I really, really like what I'm seeing. I've had no Alpha access so reading the official website/twitter and of course the likes of the Unofficial #ask-the-team Compilation is as good as it gets to wet the appetite. Again it's all going in good directions. It's not like the developers are hiding anything, they're at least trying not to over hype or over-promise; Which I can understand and appreciate. As well as the feedback they seem to be taking on. 

There's a growing enthusiastic healthy hype for the game as far as I can see. It's going to get a lot more coverage and a lot more theory-crafting on the if's an but's of the game and it's mechanics because of it. Pinch of salt on standby from those angles.

It's still early days yet and lots to be talked about never mind decided on and announced. With luck there'll be a more broad testing phase to come. A game to keep my eye on for sure.

Palia....

Palia. An MMO, a new MMO, a different MMO coming to fruition. Like a fantasy Stardew Valley as a multiplayer/co-op MMO.

It looks like a great game. There's a game who's aspects scream sweet, cute, fun and well.... super carebear. I've signed up and fingers crossed I get into the Pre Alpha. 

Perhaps another game that both mywife and I can play together. She has Farm Together, I have Stardew Valley so maybe Palia can bridge the two....

An ultimate chill MMO.

Really looking forward to seeing more about it. Early days yet!
