STO....

While I've always avoided spending cash for Zen in Star Trek Online. I do obtained Zen free through my characters and the dilithium exchange (dilithium to Zen). In that way I've only ever gotten one set of lock box key's, 10 I think. But the changes to the box items and the look of those shiny shiny ships is interesting. Tempts me more to get the lifetime sub and 500 free zen a month extra spending potential a month....

In a recent Zen splurge I decided to get another uniform set.

Eve Online....

Whenever I talk about the games I play, Eve Online is usually mentioned. Few other people I've come across play the game. The majority that have always say it's too complicated to understand, too many unwritten rules; Not to mention the stories they have heard that have tainted their understanding. Stories about trust, being back-stabbed, robbed, ganked etc. etc. etc. I always end up trying to ground them back to what they have experience themselves and an offer of trying the game with me. (See link on the right for free skill points! Or click here nudge, nudge, wink, wink).
As part of my Eve explanation I point in the direction of a few trailers and promo video's that I've found best describe/show Eve. It's built up over the years, I've added a playlist, it's worth a look, a little bit outdated in areas but still relevant.

It's hard to distill Eve, it's a vast jigsaw, so many people can get so many forms of game-play from it without even seeing all the pieces, making what they want of it. It really is a game that needs to be tried. For me it took three attempts to get into the game. Each time added a little knowledge that built up to a hook that clicked and got me on try three. I'm glad it did even with all the up and down experiences of the game and the game company. Nothing ventured nothing gained.

Eve Online....

Going through my Eve screen-shots folder has yielded some interesting pics.
So like the STO screen's I shared before; The best of the bunch from Eve (that may be wallpaper-ish worthy) are here:

Fallout 4....

Finding myself faffing about with Fallout 4 on my different characters and their settlements has lead to far too much micromanagement, tweaking and adjustments today.

Fallout 4's quirks can be interesting:

Extreme weights?

CCP....

I've not paid for a subscription on either of my "main accounts" in a long time. I'd held onto two old plex (now 1000 new plex) to be able to spend some quality Omega time on each. I've waffled about that before. This week saw the last of that plex time end.
It wasn't until today that I noticed that my main on one of those accounts was still training after that plex time.
It turns out that instead of reverting back to Alpha status CCP apparently charged my credit card for three month's of game time on that account; Very strange goings on.

Time to log a ticket.

That's a very calm response from me but I know that support are probably on an Easter break/long weekend but will in the end sort out whats happened. Their tech support is helpful, prompt and has in the past always been worth the wait.

Hitman Sniper....

Not a bad little game; especially on a phone (Android). It's not as addictive as I found Hitman Go to be (Even if Go was the PC version) but as Sniper is free for now I'll say it was well worth it. Even at 0.99 cent its a game that's worth it; just not one that would hook me.
I won't go nuts with it, but it's perfect for faffing about with on occasion.

Unfortunately it didn't record with sound....

GRW....

A well practiced and completed challenge done once again. Face-paint collected.

STO....

I think STO has increased the frequency and quality of featured episodes of late(year or so). I don't just mean episodes as a lead up to the next expansion but longer term and for the game overall. It's been gaining a lot of great content that way, repeatable without feeling grindy(in my view). Content that is then placed in among the other episodic content to add to the richness of the experience.
I've been impressed with the game for a long time and have done so because I've experienced it as a free to play account. If I'm enjoying it so much shouldn't I want to both support it and gain the advantages of lifetime rewards. I dont' know why I'm so perplexed on IF I should buy the lifetime.

With the sale price active for another week I'll continually to ponder, buy it or let time run out.

On a side note I've gone through some of my screenshots, some are 'maybe' desktop wallpaper worthy(ish).

GRW....

Yeti-again.

I do like the Yeti challenge and I'll forgive it's repetition as the reward is the yeti/white face-paint. It'll complete the set for me.
