Star Trek Online....

The first patch after the expansion was deployed during the week and improved a lot of things as per usual for all patches that come after a big expansion.

I've created and been playing a new character from the expansion from the start to level 51 in the last week. The boost to XP was impossible to ignore. I got to unbox a few rewards that I could claim like the T6 Krenim science ship from the 6th game anniversary. Science ship for a science based character makes sense. The problem is I'm flying it like the character and ship were tactical. So much so I was thinking of using the newer summer event T6 ship instead. But I'll test the science ship out and try and refit it to better suit the character.

A lot of players seem to have done the same and levelled up a new "Temporal Agent". I decided to have this character as a science based one. That means buff's and de-buff's. I also made another character based around engineering. All my other characters are tactical.

My main being 60 is concentrating on upping his reputations and both ship and ground gear. I was surprised at the amount of dps he is now doing in space. Ground is combat is ok. But space combat is like a hot knife through butter.

That must hurt....
