Getting back onto the old co-op character has seen me potter about some more with the game. Enjoying the game world for what it is. Primarily by collecting upgrades, skill points and abilities.

A key ability in either solo or co-op is the rebel helicopter drop off. The best form of transport. So I've been doing the side missions to up that ability. In doing so I've been subjected to my character's repeat, long speech that is the run up to the Sam Fisher Splinter Cell mission. I have no idea why he's doing it repeatedly or why he's not doing the Predator mission speech instead. Anyway it got me motivated (or maybe annoyed enough) to do the mission... Just to get rid of the speech.

It wasn't all rainbows and sunshine. At night all you can hear is the scream of a solo casual carebear in Ghost Recon's Splinter Cell mission.

First time around it failed as I was spotted. I ran right into a guard.

Second time it failed at a Sam Fisher speech I had zero control over.

Third time was lucky....
