The latest patch does a lot, Update 0.7.1.31567. The best line of the patch notes in my view at the moment is: Added mysterious alien race, referred to as "The Ancients".
The game is also getting a proper launch date, May 26th. I've been glad to have been a part of early, to have seen it transform from good to great.
