Ships, salvage 'n' more ships...

Last weekend was another blink and you miss it. Time flew over the weekend. And Eve was all about the Salvaging, with either missions or my own wreck.

The usual PI and skills updates/checks were done. Not sure I need to mention those ever again but it is always an ongoing "thing".

My main alt got some epic arc missions done over the weekend losing a buzzard in a silly mistake.

One missions got all the spawns at once and needed help from one of my mains in a Tengu to clear it quickly.

Oddly enough the mission that lost the buzzard was a non combat hi-sec mission lol.

I was to fly cloaked past a bunch of rats to an acceleration gate to get to the next room… 
Problem was that flying cloaked is slow… 
So slow I thought I’d go to the bathroom… 
On the way back to the bathroom I popped my head into the missus who chatted for a few minutes…. 

Once done I expected to see my ship still flying but no... I was in a pod… 
My ship got popped...
So what happened:  My cloaked buzzard had reached the acceleration gate and been decloaked by it, the rats then saw the ship and opened fire, boom … gone… 
So I pod jumped to Jita and bought a new one and refitted it the same way…. 
Raced back to the mission, cloaked up and headed for my wreck (mission item to use the gate was still on the wreck).  
I collected the wrecks contents, pulled aggro and jumped through before they could hit me.
I did the hack and blew the prisons but the mission objective wasn’t there, so I said sod it if I am gonna scan down another of these sites and bought the mission objective from a contract.

Hi-sec non-combat mission 1 -  Two runs to lowsec with gates being camped and I survive 0 

"Funny" afk cloaked ship moves faster then I thought, I really should have set it to a 5 km orbit instead of approach....

Both mains sold off PI and loot over the weekend and bought more fuel. Costs for a weeks worth of PI tax (npc and customs owner) seems to be 8 to 10 mill, all the PI income now goes on fuel purchase. Thankfully there is more fuel being bought than is needed so this should provide a nice stockpile.

My returned friend was on for a good bit two days (Friday n Sunday) so we did a lot of missions. I traded over some other bits to him and gave a mobile depot to test out. 
He's not been on this week but he seems to have the play eve bug back. Not wanting to be pushy but I might see if he is gonna be on this week/weekend to do some stuffz. Better to return to the game of your own will then to be pushed into it. Eve is better to play when you actually know the person operating the other pixels on screen

I think I mentioned it last time but he has turned a new leaf and is 100% into Salvaging…..

My main hadn't been about the Amarr empire in a while so I took him there this week. I had to pick up some stuff and decided to head over to his main mission hub there to see if I'd left anything lying about. Glad I did as there was stuff ( including a full set of level 4 implants ) that I'd forgotten about. The rediscovery of this stuff was well timed as I had been thinking about the implants he currently had. The CA-1 to 4 implants he currently has are all level 3, I will use these rediscovered lvl 4's and some more to upgrade another clone…. Better for learning…

I didn’t’ get much in eve done, yesterday and the night before was eve-lite as well. 

 

Monday night saw my main alt finish off the last missions in the epic arc.

 

 

I had forgotten how hard the last mission was, with a few jamming ships he needed help, so I got my second main to get things done quickly. It all went well in the end and selling the tags alone covered the cost of the new Buzzard.

I sold the lab reward to my second main at a lower price (of course) to use on the POS. (yes I keep the main's and alts with their own wallets, if everything went into one fund I'd probably end up spending it all on a marauder I didnt' need...)

I also did a little ratting last night with my Null sec alt. All in all a well rounded weekend and last few days.

Other gaming has also been done.

Rome Total War ( the first one ) has me doing a few turns, I can see me getting back into a campaign again.

Battlefield 4 Multiplayer was set back due to a corrupted save and a few niggling glitches that are annoying ( like to sound effects when in game ), and once I entered the game with no loadout except for a grenade, really odd. I also seem to be missing some guns and gear that I had in one session then lost and no idea how to get them back... hmmmmmm.  All in all I'm enjoying it but the exasperation as a "noob" with the "starter" gear may become overly annoying if the save goes again or if I can't get my gear back.... Will see how that goes.

Xcom Enemy Within has also been keeping me busy, I've about reached the end of the last  mission.
