Week that's in it....

This week is a week of disruption for me, from virtual worlds to real life. From personal to more general issues and everything in between. One of  'those weeks' where most things just don't line up, big and small, in game and out. Such weeks are rare enough for me but this is most certainly one of them. In many way's there are people that never have such days never mind weeks. In many way's there are a lot of people on the planet having a much worse time; My issues seem so small by far and minuscule compared to them

I'm a gamer and a blogger and I usually post something gaming related regardless of real world me. I've both much gaming to waffle about and nothing to post. I can predict that the rest of this week will end as it has started; Disrupted and out of joint. So while I have a bit of time and can make the effort...... I'll waffle on about my gaming....

The last few weeks I've been back 'on and off' to some Battlefield 1 on PC. Much of that time has been as it was before. There are still clans in events mopping up the casual pug's; Which is still fun in it's own way when there are good fights. I guess that's an underdog thing. There's nothing like giving a 'superior' enemy a really good bloody nose. As I've said before, even as a lone sniper I've made a difference. A lot of players complain about BF 1 but given the BF games that have come out since, BF1 still rocks, be it on PC or Xbox

The D key on my mechanical keyboard broke(Razer Blackwidow). The keycap slot for the key's switch split and while I can glue or buy a new D keycap I settled with swapping out one of the macro keys from the same row(same size/cap height). Electric taping-over the empty slot(I'm not that fussy, I never used the macro keys). So my WASD is now WASm3. WASD woes of a gamer.
I'm not bad at touch typing but when I do glance down and expect a D, the m3 catches me off guard every time. It's a keyboard I really like so I may end up getting a new D cap for it..... I've also been eyeing up an 80% keyboard for my second PC in an effort to de-clutter my physical desk(KVM switches won't do it for me ... Need that extra physical keyboard). Then again I may end up splashing out and get a newer version of my old keyboard and buy new key caps for the old one... That may be the better more practical and cost effective option now....

My two main online games, Star Trek Online and Eve Online, are both being pottered away with. As with most Online games, log in, click on stuff, don't click on other stuff... In essence once the daily maintenance on characters and daily events are 'done' I'm happy enough. More of a Star Trek Online thing then Eve Online. The current returning STO event for first contact day is a favorite of mine; Why the Picard Mars android attack is part of the event is beyond me; It has noting to do with First Contact. Then again Discovery/Picard etc are not Star Trek to me.....

Two Point, despite my recent gamplay resurgence with the latest DLC has fallen by the wayside in favour of games that are not a time sink. Blink with the DLC and it's 3 hours later.... But it's time will come.

Planet Crafter and it's recent update has been a time sink that doesn't feel like it, so no wonder I've been putting some time into it. Just by it's doing it's a fulfilling form of gameplay if your into it.
