My Eve story is still one of adjusting alts, monitoring mains and general faffing around.
My old main's are all done and dusted with the winter gifts so are back to being mothballed. As is pretty much every other account/character I have.
The only characters I've been doing anything of note are my old trials alts, and both of my "new main" Alpha's.
Both of these new "mains" in this Alpha universe are skilling up and only have about a month to go until fully skill capped.
War declarations on the Corp's of both these "main Alpha" characters has pushed them into a semi hibernation. Oddly enough the PVE corp is coping better than the PVP corp is.
My PVE character is missioning in corp fleet's and building up isk to buy a second Gnosis.
The PVE corp is well organised and has proper intel, plus a pvp wing that in many ways almost reminds me of a few nullsec corp's I've been with. The corp has organisation and responsiveness on it's side. Not to mention getting help/allies with war dec's.
Maybe they are over organised....
The PVP corp on the other hand has turned into a turtle and hunkered down, lost around 60% of it's members in the first week of the war and despite some dedicated officers is suffering a lot more.
The PVP character has no income generation ability so is very much at a loss to build up expendable ships. I dont' want to join a large organisation like Brave Newbies that will hand out ships to fly. It's a catch 22 situation.
Thankfully both of those characters are nearing the end of their trainable skill's.
So with multiple war declarations all over the place it's unhealthy to be pve missioning or pvp sacrificing isk for the sake of lol's with no meaning.
So as much as I would like and need to use these new main's I'll not be doing much with either corp for the time being.
From now on I think they will be the only Eve characters I'll be blogging about. That will be an attempt to both curb my waffle and focus my gaming attention to do more with them.

Onto my main waffling event.
There are 4 characters (over 3 accounts) that I've been spending most of my time on. My pre 'get into Eve' characters from way back when. One is a T1 hauler that is not training so not worthy of further mention. I'll spent a bit of time to waffle about the other three.
My first two "get into Eve" trial alts are well sorted with isk/ships and assets. While I said I'd leave them alone with level 3 mission access I decided to take both out and complete the sisters of Eve epic arc. Both are about halfway through.
I also messed about with the other alt that had previously done the sisters arc but needed to get lvl 3 access.
I wanted all three accounts/characters to be on the same level playing field with access to 99% of the same things. Level 3 access, same ships/fits capability and roughly the same assets etc...
The only real difference between them is that the two old trials are Caldari, taking lvl 3 missions with the Caldari Navy. While the other is Gallente and in a bit of a change is going with the Sisters of Eve missions rather than a Gallente faction. Just for a bit of diversification.
So back to the duo doing the epic arc. I value my time so it makes sense for me to whip out the laptop and use both of these accounts at the same time. But apparently by using two of my alpha accounts at the same time (one on pc and the other on laptop) I'm breaching the EULA....

That sucks, I'm still doing it. It's not like I'm paying for the game and if CCP takes/bans the accounts etc... Well I'll be moaning about it here... And the last thing I'd do is then give them real money on another account. Anyway I'm sure they have better things to do than swing a bat at a pve mission runner.
As both characters are on the latter stages of training the skill queue doesn't need to be attended to on a daily basis, thankfully. It was 'fun' for a while but I'm over that now.
I've standardised the basics that they have in their hangers.
Ammo and drones are inexpensive and as basic as you can get.
The Integrated drones have skyrocketed in price by over 500% so I'm glad I got a few when I did. I'll be sticking to the T1 drones from here on in.
The collectibles are massing with the arc/standings progression. Not to mention the winter gifts.
The Ships and fits for both of the Caldari/PVE are below, showing my pve usage/tested fits that work for me:
So for the Gallente alt its much the same story, a little lower on the skill count so a few weeks of extra training needed. A move to a Gallente also means access to medium drones for a bump in dps.
