I was full of all the wrong info earlier.
Day 3 sees an anniversary event announcement for a T6 Bajoran Interceptor prize. Very Nice! The catch is that you need a rep grind to obtain it. 1000 event vouchers will complete that grind. "400 of these Prize Vouchers can be earned by completing the “Scylla and Charybdis” Featured Episode for the first time." so that's not too bad at all. Easier than even the winter event ship grind.

The Day 3 reward is 10,000 refined dilithium. Claimable once per account (found under the c-store's promotions tab).
