Minmatar alt... update

A few weeks ago my lil ol Minmatar alt got kicked from a faction warfare corp, probably due to her inactivity. I had joined it with a friend but it never really took off as RL intervened for both of us.

With all the alt's gear consolidated into one station in hi-sec again I spent some time last night going through exactly what she has. And rethinking what she is useful for.


At the moment her ships inventory is:
1 fully T2 fitted ( bar one or two intentional T1 modules ) Wolf Assault frig.

1 fully T2 fitted ( bar one or two intentional T1 modules ) Cheetah Cov-ops frig.
1 T1 fitted mining Venture.
1 T1 Logistics (Scyth) Cruiser.
1 Firetail faction frig - fit for pve content ( not a 100% proper fit ).
Assortment of T1 fitted haulers ( Hoarder  Mammoth).
Assortment of T1 fitted frigs ( mainly Rifters ) left over from the faction warfare.
Assortment of T1 fitted destroyers ( mainly Thrashers ) left over from the faction warfare.

1 Level 3 Mission fit Hurricane.
1 Level 4 Mission fit Tempest.
 
Other than those the hanger has containers with T1 and T2 ammo's of the small/medium/large verities, T1 rockets and some other missiles, scanning and combat probes, mish mash of T1 and T2 mods. Not to mention a container with the odd collectibles and some skill books.

The recent attempt to run a level 4 mission proved that she is not ready for that as a solo pilot.
Her skills are based more around the frigate / destroyer roles.
Level 3 Missions in a cane can be quick earners. But selling the Tempest will net about 140 Million, that's a quicker boost to the wallet.
For some reason the idea of selling the Tempest and the Cane crossed my mind with the added idea of getting a Gnosis instead. This is due to recalling how aware you need to be with the cane's range/firing arc/repping etc. It's a fine balancing act (for this alt). Maybe the Gnosis is an easier life in lvl 3's. It certainly is more adaptable for multiple roles.

Rens prices list 120 million for the Tempest plus another 40 for the Cane.
Not bad at all.  A Gnosis goes for about 64 Million ish. That leaves 100 Million plus change to work on a fit if I dont' have the mods there and then.

A lot is still unclear but with the other ships and gear she has he is a good all round lower level alt for pve and pvp. For now I think I'll run with that plan, Gnosis for level 3's, sell and trade off the rest so the hanger will be lean. And on the long finger keep a general eye out for another Faction warfare corp.... or rejoin the last one once my friend gets back in the game.
