STO....

The console version of the game has a negative reputation of being behind the PC version. Undeserved if technically true. As with other multi-platform games developed the latest changes/updates and expansions need time to reach all platforms. Xbox and PS are not that far behind PC, maybe around 2(ish) month's. Besides that the main variation in versions is down to the game controls. A mouse and keyboard on PC distilled down to one controller seems like a tall task but one that doesn't seem to have been a problem. Playing it on console works well. That's not to say there aren't 'top' players across the versions who see min/maxing on Xbox as hampered by the control method. I know I wouldn't trade my keyboard/mouse for a controller on PC.......

The flip side of all my waffling points is considering what STO on console does better than PC. I've noticed one thing I wish the PC version did.

Doff assignment auto-buy of replicated items.

It's a simple thing but a great quality of life improvement.

PC players need to have the items already in their inventory or open inventory, then the replicator, replicate the needed items and then go back into the assignment. That replication process can be a hassle as I(and I assume other players) usually end up replicating too many items. Before you know it your overflowing with medical supplies and entertainment provisions.

Anyway, 'replicate and begin' for PC would be great!
