STO....

The latest charity promotion looked interesting so I popped for the $10 two for 1 pack(becoming a sucker for these packs). A good cause. I'd point to all of Star Trek as a 100% symbol of that cause but the two most recent of series most definitely are not. Anyway. New stuffz to be had in game! Two new ships unlocked for my account. I was always a fan of the Caracal pets(Risa event etc) and the tribble is a fun looking one as well.

With the year of the Klingon I might have to get an Orion as a Sci character for the KDF. Could be interesting given my newfound Federation Sci main.

In game the Caracal and tribble do look well.

I've been plugging away with the daily for the event/campaign. Halfway through now.

Between yesterday and today, doing the event and a bunch of random TFO's I was able to get the Mastery trait on the new ship for my main.

Given it's a science ship and my main is tactical based I was surprised at how well the ship survived. Not amazing on the DPS front but it did seem to punch well enough so not to be a major drag on the TFO groups; But I guess that's more down to my main and his traits/abilities than the ship or the adhoc 'sh*t' fit I slapped onto it.....
