Graphically the older games are not in any way impressive today. You may look past the looks and go for the gameplay and nostalgia. Reminisce about the old save that was right before a boss fight. Or marvel at how much you had amassed on a character. I'm sure that there will be achievements galore to get from the old games. I'm sure Microsoft will do the implementation in a great way. I'm just not sure I'll use it for anything beyond a quick look at how the emulation implementation works and the games play on it. Then stick with my old console and saves for the more authentic nostalgia.
While I was more into Flashpoint on the PC my enthusiasm for the game saw me pick up the Xbox version. Although I never played it as much I do recall at least one main campaign playthrough. Which was done to see the 'newer' graphics and changes to the game for it's console port.
In saying that the Gamepost review of 2005 wasn't kind to the game. It did date quickly.

Other reviews around the same time were saying the same type of things:

The more I think about it the less enamoured I am with the concept. I'm a fan of the franchise, both Xbox and Flashpoint yet I know already I'd rather load up an old save for 5 minutes on the old console. I'd probably cast an eye on a side monitor for a playthrough on youtube than redo/replay the same game on a modern Xbox through emulation from scratch.
I really wonder where Microsoft are going with with this side of backwards compatibility.
I'll have to get my old games out and list them with regard for replayability.
