GRW: Fallen Ghosts....
For the first time in a while I got to spend some quality time at home. With real world stuff done I then started to enjoy some proper PC activities and updated a lot of software. The big one being the newest DLC for Ghost Recon Wildlands, Fallen Ghosts.
Once downloaded I recreated my "main" and "main alt" for the expansion.
Both have access to at least 1 of the weapons they use in the main campaign.
My main has access to his Tar-21 but his secondary is now a newly unlocked sniper rifle reward, the PSG-1 Mercenary. So far it's working out well enough.
Right from the start I have to say I'm enjoying the DLC far more than the previous expansion. I think I was right to be positive in my previous thoughts about this expansion.
The "main alt" has access to the Stoner LMG she has as a secondary but her main SMG P-90 is not unlocked in this DLC, so she's had to live with the expansions version of the Vector .45 ACP SMG.
With both my characters having a weapon that handles 'well enough', I'll still aim to get them the the same weapons as the main campaign. Or if I find that a DLC version/replacement is better then so be it.
I didn't get to play much beyond a mission or two with my recreated main. I've still not recreated the 3rd "grey man" character in any DLC. I think I'll leave him for co-op within the main campaign only.
This time round I finished off my game session by doing a few missions with him. But the quality of co-op players has fallen since I last played. I had expected better for around the 8pm mark, which I thought would have been ideal timing. True pug was very true pug in the worst ways. Maybe it was just a bad night/day/time etc.....
I was tempted to change a character into the Splinter Cell suit, cool as it looks it felt a bit "off" to me when in game so I reverted her back to her usual look.
