Gameplay that soaks up time but seems like a blink of the eye is always an indicator of fun. It is with this game, at least to me! The three hold out cities for some travel achievements have now been 'done'. While I'll be avoiding the 'get 2000' trips achievements for every city; The last three that needed the lower journey achievements have been reached without too much hassle.
Then:
Now:
Still fun to push the limits(and if anything unlocks achi wise then so much the better).
Cascades to failure are still 'fun' in their own way. A scramble for survival. By that stage there's noting to be really done with a map, not easily. Granted you can pause and completely clear/breakdown a map and rebuild with a new 'plan'. That's not the fun of it, not for me. I salute and let it slide into oblivion....
It's also been fun/interesting to watch gamers with such OCD for the game that they can't handle how others play it; Driving themselves crazy, obsessing all over twitter just because some players are casual about it... RNG placements on top of limited RNG resources that a player has no control over and still these other OCD players get spazzed out(to become more angry than a situation warrants)... This is not the game for an OCD person to chill with or even observe, it's trigger central..
I only need one of the remaining achievements. To complete 7 more daily challenges for the 14 days of dailies. Game once a day for the next week doing the chosen daily, not hard at all.
All the other achi's (14 of them) are ones I can ignore. I'm into the game but I'm not 'Hardcore'. If I tried to do them I'd be playing the game for the sake of the achi's rather than the fun of the game.
Once the daily achi is done I'm going to 'relax' and play the game when I feel like it.... For fun..... As games should be done.
