Finally got that alt working....Sisters of Eve Epic Arc.

Last weekend saw me finish up training an alt. I could finally get going on the lowest level epic arc (it is the only low level epic arc, the others are about the same as level 4 missions). As I had mentioned previously, its usually the next step after the advanced tutorials.

The last of the training went well, there wasn't much I had to add on due to timings.

It can be a pain sometimes when training ends at an awkward time like 2a.m.
I usually don't have time for eve in the mornings. That 2 a.m. finish means I need something on the skill q to last till I get home from work, that's 16 + hours after the skill stopped, better to train something than nothing.  I could part train a longer skill on another character but that means extending the skills time on the alt for longer. Adding a 10 hour skill that still benefits the alt is the lesser of two evils.
I wanted to get the alt done sooner rather than later.

The last few day's training ended up being this:

The four skills before Small Turret 5 were all "to extend training".

All done! And the T2 guns can be fitted.

The current fleet of ships in the hanger are these, the list is the fit of the Navy Slicer:

Not a bad lil alt to be going on with.

So with the training done and the ships in good order I decided it was time to get going on the epic arc.

I hopped into the Navy Sliver, dumped the bulk of the cargo in the hanger and only took two multi-freq crystals as ammo.  The good thing about the low level T1 Ammo is that they take no damage from use.

The missions start by speaking to an agent called Sister Alitura, I looked her name up and started a convo.

Right clicking her location I set destination and started the journey. And picked up the first mission.

The bulk of the missions are of a similar nature, pickup and drop off items, kill missions where there are a few frigates/destroyers to kill. Even the story line is good. And it takes you all across the 4 empires.

The Missions I did went really well. Usually only 3 or 4 enemies per wave with only 2 or 3 waves of enemies if there were any at all. It was nice to be back into flying a laser ship, the Amarr have some good looking ships.
I got a good bit done, almost half way I'd say, but I've not looked up any guides as it's been a while since I last did the arc, a random surprise is a good thing. I may only be a third of the way.  :)

There was really no loot to collect, I recall doing this way in the past and having a full cargo hold of loot.
Isk wise I made about 4 million in rewards and bounty. They are small amounts but they add up....

Corp tax only kicks in once you start getting the 100k+ rewards.

More to follow.
