Eve Online....

I may be out of the game and I may never pay for it again but the new clone states has reinvigorated my interest in Eve Online. Before the announcement I was vaguely planning to return to Eve using the 21 day trial and maybe for a longer time with my 60 day codes. Clone stated goes way beyond those minor plans to return. Time will tell if I visit my old mains or stick with my old alt's as "new" mains in an Alpha state universe.

The Purity of the throne event will have SKIN drop as rewards with the new event. The SKIN's look good but I dont' think I'd go out of my way for them. Definitely not worth resubbing for, but that's my own opinion.

There is still a lot of discussion on the Freemium Alpha clones coming in November.

Also worth a listen is the PVE townhall.

There should be some interesting times ahead for PVE.

Although there are a lot of people that are demanding dynamic missions that change and are super difficult I have to say that for as much as I dot' like the grind I never felt that missions in Eve were grindy. Could they do with a refresh, yes. Could they do with more newer updated missions, yes.
But the sheer difficulty of making missions fit all types pof players is a harsh wall to set. From the 10 Million SP character to the 80 Million SP character with no skills to sly a battleship. Missions cannot be all things to all people. They are what they are. Improvements needed... As long as they dont' remind me of my frig burner mission (my experience is near the end of that post).

I'm still loving the Scope video's. Let's hope the minutes for the CSM meeting are out sooner rather than later, even if they are heavily blacked out due to NDA's.
