Eve Online....

For a PvE expansion (it was meant to be a PvE expansion right?), I dont' see a lot of PvE in Lifeblood.... I see Industrial based everything.... Even resource wars is based on doing mining, the NPC's shoot the rats your site is being "bothered" with.
Pirate bases smack of the elitist Incursion esq content, good luck trying to group into that as an Omega never mind as an Alpha. And improvements to the agency are all about grouping people together. Has CCP even seen what random strangers in group content are like? In 'real' PvE games such people, they dont' talk, are defensive and on the slightest sign of mishap start infighting, bitching and abandoning the content. Eve is 100 times harder, draw your own conclusions to that.

I'll say it again. I had hope for the expansion and it's clear now that it's gotten the CCP twist, how unsurprising yet disappointing. So much for hope. I waffled about PvE this time last year, here a year on and as much as the game has changed, nothing has changed.

My new main, an Alpha PvE character (long story) is in a mainly PvE corp, Industry/missioning/standings grinds as well as PvP and WH. And the amount of War dec's, harassment and shite they have to go through just to do simple activities is ridiculous.

Rereading over the last of an old 21 day trial characters was interesting, at least to me. It's proves how easy it is to be a pain to others in this game.
No wonder there is such a high turnover on newer players at least in that corp. Newer players overall are not like older veterans as they started. Nowadays the players are all in a rush to gain SP, ISK and skill boosters a.s.a.p. You don't have to be a genius to see that's not a way of gaining long term players.

While the game has it's hooks in me, I've not paid for a sub in over a year, I'd never pay for boosters or isk/old plex never mind the new..... soooooooo....
I'll have to get my finger out, stop waffling and actually post about what I've been doing in game.
